Cathleen Allyn Conway is finishing her PhD in creative writing at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is a poet, a Plath scholar, and a Gothicist, as well as a journalist and teacher. She has presented widely on Sylvia Plath in the US, the UK, and mainland Europe. Her poems have appeared in numerous American and British publications, including Magma, Tears in the Fence, 3:AM Magazine, and South Bank Poetry.
She has previously worked as a journalist on UK trades and national newspapers, including the Financial Times, the Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Sun, and as an English teacher (KS3-KS5) in inner London. Originally from Chicago, she lives in south London with her partner and son. You may follow her intermittent feminist ranting and retweets at @CatAllynC.
